  Balleleshwar temple, Pali This temple is located in the district of pune.Pali Ganesha is believed to have saved this boy-devotee, Ballala, who was beaten by local villagers and his father (Kalyani-seth) for his single-minded devotion to him. The original wooden temple was reconstructed into a stone temple by Nana Phadanavis in 1760. The significance of  Pali Ganpati Temple  is that it faces east and is perfectly planned to ensure that the rays from the  winter solstice’s  rising sun fall directly on the main idol. The temple has  two sanctums  – the inner sanctum measuring 15 feet and the outer sanctum measuring 12 feet. A devotee by name   Krishnaji Narayan Pinge   constructed eight pillars in 1910. III. CHINTAMANI TEMPLE. Chinatmani temple, Theur.   The temple lore describes how bhagwan Ganesh retrieved the wish-giving jewel Chintamani  for his devotee, the sage Kapila  from the greedy king Gana and how he pacifies the uneasy mind of the god Brahma , who meditated on him in Theur. The   Chintamani Temple of Theur (Theyoor)   is a Hindu temple dedicated to the Lord 'Ganesha (Chintamani Ganpati Theur)' Son of Lord Siva and Parvati. This temple is one of the popular among the Ashtavinayaka temples and 27.04 km from Pune district in Maharashtra. Theur is located in the Haveli Taluka of Pune district and near the confluence of   river Bhima   and the conjoint   river Mula and Muth a . Theur is prescribed to the fifth temple to be visited in the  Ashtavinayak Darshan  tour or yatra, people often visit Theur second in the place after  Morgaon , as it is a more convenient route.  II . SIDDHIVINAYAK TEMPLE SIDDHIVINAYAK TEMPLE,SIDDHATEK. After Mayureshwar temple we visited Siddhivinayak temple. This temples is located on the bank of bhima ,it is believed that the temple was built by lord vishnu himself .  The Shree Siddhivinayak Temple at Siddhatek is a Hindu temple dedicated to Ganesha. The temple is one of the Ashtavinayaka, the eight revered shrines of Ganesha in the Indian state of Maharashtra and the only Ashtavinayaka shrine in Ahmednagar district. The Siddhivinayak Temple is the second Lord Ganesha Temple to be visited during the Ashtavinayak Temples Yatra/Pilgrimage/Tour according to Shastras. In the events or Ganesh Jayanti days, lots of small shops here for shopping and the sweet Prashad (Pedha) of Ganesha. MAYURESHWAR TEMPLE Ashtavinayak yatra starts from Mayureshwar temple it is said that the coconut should be offered to god that single coconut should be carried while visiting the temples Ashtavinayak. After completion that coconut should be taken again to Mayureshwar temple after that one can take coconut to their respective homes and prepare some sweet or use that coconut for preparing food.  The significance of Morgaon Ganapati Temple is that a huge stone boundary encloses the place of worship with minarets at four corners of the temple. 2. SHREE KARVEER NIWASINI AMBABAI MAHALAXMI TEMPLE, KOLHAPUR .

This temple was built in the 7th century CE. This temple is dedicated to devi Mahalaxmi wife of lord Vishnu .Visiting Ambabai temple kolhapur Along with Tirupati temple ,Andra pradesh and padmavathi temple it is considered as one can help in achieving moksha .  The architecture of Kolhapur Shaktipeeth Temple belongs to the Chalukya Empire and it is said that the temple was first built by Karnadeva around 700 AD. The Mahalakshmi idol of Kolhapur is made of sandstone and weighs 40 kilograms. The goddess wears a beautiful jeweled crown on her head. The height of Mahalaxmi goddess idol is about 2 feet 9 inches tall.  Shree Mahalakshmi Devi's vehicle Lion, made of stone stands behind the Idol of the goddess. BALUMAMA TEMPLE,ADAMAPUR. We started our journey from vasco and our first destination of the day was balumama temple. This temple is located in the Adamapur village ,Bhudargad taluka ,kolhapur district of Maharasthra. This temple is dedicated to saint Balumama who was a Shephard belonging to Dhangar community .  He was known to be the practical guide of the villagers and people used to believe in him  Balumama, born as  Ballappa   on   October 3, 1892 , hailed from a shepherd family in the village of   Akkol   in the   Chikkodi taluk   of   Belgaum district , Karnataka. Even as a child, he displayed an innate inclination towards meditation and spirituality. His parents noticed his unique behavior, but they couldn’t fully comprehend his spiritual calling. Exploring temples of Maharashtra 🚩

 Hello everyone  My name is vaishnavi and I'm from Goa . I am on a trip with my mummy and her friends where we'll be visiting the temples of Maharasthra  we are going to 13 temples in this 4 day trip, out of 13 - 8 temples are the Ashtavinaya(अष्टविनायक),Balumama temple,Ambabai temple,Shirdi and Shani shignapur,I will try to add most of the temples.It will be my pleasure to give little bit information about which temple I visit so stay tune to know more about the place.  *Disclaimer*  All the pictures seen in the future blogs are all captured by me (Vaishnavi mesta) ,Also there will be no pictures of the dieties but there will be pictures of the temple and surrounding.
